About Us
ANNEXE was established in January 2025 with the vision of making the experience of selling and buying at auction better.
We’re not an auction house in the traditional sense — we run (innovative) auctions online, period. Being an auction “house” implies we have our own interests to serve. We would rather make your interests our primary concern, and our secondary interest will be naturally taken care of; hence ANNEXE which is both noun and verb meaning to append or attach, as well as an extension to something.
Our first sale, Annexe #01 took place in January 2025 with a few market-disrupting features for sellers and buyers alike, including competitive seller’s fee, complimentary delivery and discounts on buyer’s premium.
We have since put together thematic and single-owner sales for the Children’s Museum Singapore and a collection of Chinese ceramics from a Philippine-based European consul working with a partner auction house in Cebu, the Philippines. Two sales – Annexe #02 and Echoes of the Past – were 100% sold.
As we enter the thick of the year end sales in our inaugural year, we are expanding and experimenting with a range of innovative discounts that makes selling and buying fulfilling, and fun.
We are honoured to present artworks from the private collections of two exemplary Singaporean art collectors, theatre director and filmmaker Glen Goei and cultural geographer Prof. Victor Savage. To top it off, we will also present two full charity auctions to benefit an independent cat rescue group as well as a number of Singapore charities designated by the estate of a lady.
