Finely painted in underglaze blue with a lively three-clawed dragon coiled amid stylized clouds, framed by bands of scrolling lotus around the rim and sides. The lid fits snugly onto the shallow body, which mirrors the scrolling lotus pattern. The interior is glazed, while the base is left unglazed around the footrim.
