Featuring a pair of iron-red phoenixes with outstretched wings gliding amidst a profusion of lotus scrolls and leafy tendrils executed in underglaze blue and overglaze enamel. Each side is flanked by finely sculpted lion-mask handles with applied rings. The domed cover mirrors the floral design and is surmounted by a charming mythical creature finial.
