Elegantly potted with a broad shoulder and waisted neck, covered overall with a soft turquoise or bluish-green celadon glaze. The body is molded with a central medallion featuring two confronting cranes framed by scrolling clouds and lotus blooms. A band of upright lappets encircles the base, adding a rhythmic finish to the design. The glaze pools delicately in the recesses, accentuating the molded motifs with a fine crackle pattern.
