Finely painted in vivid cobalt-blue tones with a continuous garden scene, depicting two scholars engaged in conversation amidst trees, rocks, and a fenced terrace. Bands of lotus sprays and lappets encircle the waisted foot and shoulder, while a six-character apocryphal Wanli mark is inscribed within a cartouche at the shoulder.
