Sturdily potted with shallow rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, all supported on a neatly formed foot. The interior is boldly decorated in varying tones of cobalt blue with a central medallion enclosing a sinuous kui-dragon (‘kuilong’) amidst scrolling clouds. The cavetto is encircled by three kui-dragons coiled among flame-like cloud scrolls. The exterior is similarly painted with lingzhi motifs in the four cardinal directions.
