Boldly potted meiping vase with a gently waisted body rising to a narrow neck, the vessel is finely decorated in underglaze iron-red and green enamel highlights in imitation of the celebrated Yuan dynasty palette. The body is richly adorned with phoenixes amidst luxuriant flowering vines, grape clusters, and rocky outcrops, all masterfully rendered with fluid brushwork and framed above by a classic scroll band and below by a lappet border.
